Projects

Evaluating empirical adjustments applied to wind speed simulations from GCMs and RCMs for acquiring reliable wind data for Wind Energy assessment.

Climate models have caveats in simulating wind speeds over complex terrain. This research applies terrain modifications to model simulated wind speeds to bridge the gap between the observed wind speed patterns and climate model outputs.

Investigating the Uncertainties and Added Value of Multi-variable Bias Adjustment for Heat Stress Assessment in Japan using Multi-model ensemble of Climate Models.

Conducted in-depth research on topography-based bias adjustment methods for climate models and their impact on assessing heat stress and cooling demand. Published a paper in a peer-reviewed journal and 15 presentations at international conferences.

Urban National Supercomputing Mission

Investigating the applicability and feasibility of the WRF-ARW model for urban areas' air quality and weather forecast as part of a project related to urban climate modeling.

Winter Fog Experiment (WiFEX)

Handling and Data management of Meteorological Instruments at the IGI airport, New Delhi site.

Impact of Climate Change on Crop Production in Maharashtra, India

Evaluated the impact of rainfall and temperature variability on Crop production for the historical period and projected the changes under RCP4.5. This research contributed to my MSc dissertation, journal publication, and conference presentation.
